Earlier today, shift bid rankings and available slots for every pod were already rolled out.
Sad to say, out of 38 (as I remember), I landed hard on the 30th. One big factor of which was my 2-week absence during the holidays which, we all know isn't my fault after all.
Sigh. It made me feel sad that I won't be able to maximize my ranking with regard to bidding for the schedule I prefer. But anyways, that's just how the cookie crumbles, let it be.
When you'll analyze how these schedules were plotted out, you'll definitely raise your eyebrows. Hmm... let's leave it up to THEM, they're more experienced on the industry anyways. I just hope the trending they foresee with regard to inbound call flows were at least almost accurate.
When I started plotting the schedules I like, I even opened a notepad and jotted down my priority schedules first.
I took note of those schedules which will give me a Sunday rest day (not that I'm on a ritual every Sundays but its just that I really prefer scheduling dates- or should I say appointments on a weekend). It makes me feel more at peace and relaxed. Next were those schedules that'll give me a Saturday RD.
But of course, as if I'll get my preferred RD's! Hah! Well, I hope an at least earlier than midnight start shift would be given to me, that'll be fine.
